Brett Lindholm

Director of Technology

Brett Graduated from The University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. He loves to play guitar and Snowboard in the winter. Brett enjoys photography and videography and always seems to have a camera. His favorite part of Working at WPS is working with this awesome EdTech Team!

James Rekowski

James Rekowski

Coordinator of Technology Infrastructure

James graduated from Bridgewater State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and he has been with WPS for almost 8 years! Jame is also a alumni of WPS. In his spare time, James enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures. He is an avid reader and really enjoys getting outside, hiking, biking, and running are a few of his favorite activities. If you ask James what his favorite part of working at WPS is he will say that it is working with students, especially the CTE Information Technology students.

Brittany Lee

Administrative Assistant

Brittany graduated from both Johnson & Wales University as well as Curry College. She brings organization to the team with her labels everywhere. Her favorite hobby is cooking watching movies and spending time with her kids and husband! Brittany loves to learn new things in Google Workspace. She has focused on helping create a “virtual” and paperless office for us.

Junior Systems Administrator

Jon graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Major in Biology. He specializes in inventory, automation, and software packaging he is a huge asset to our time when we have a Chromebook rollouts. His favorite hobby is playing video games. For him, the best part of his job is his team and he is always trying to smuggle his adorable French bulldog, Alphie, into the office!

Liz MacPherson

Junior Systems Administrator

Elizabeth (Liz) is no stranger to Weymouth Public Schools, she joins our team after (3?) years in her role as a CTE teacher for the technology program at Weymouth High School. Liz has a Bachelors’s in English from Boston College and has previously worked as a technology support specialist. She specializes in System Admin, Network Admin; Project Management and has a love for cats. In her spare time, you will find her reading books or spending time with the people she loves. Liz’s favorite part of working for Weymouth is the people. She has spent a lot of time in every school in the district and cannot wait to start putting her talents to use as a member of the EdTech team!

Mike Miller

Technology Integration Specialist

Mike Miller is a graduate of UMass Boston with a MEd in Public History Education and CAGS in Educational Leadership. He is one of our Technology Integration Specialists and also one of our advisors for our Wildcat Media Club. In the winter you will find him skiing any chance he gets. He loves watching students use technology as they create projects using technology and working with our awesome EdTech department and WPS staff!

Mary Lou Buell

Mary Lou Buell

Technology Integration Specialist

Mary Lou graduated from American University with a BA in Communications, from UMass Boston with a MEd in Secondary Education, and from Simmons University with a CAGS in School Library Teacher. Mary Lou is a guru in all things Google especially Google Forms and Google Classroom. She is well versed in Actively Learn and Digital Choice Boards as well! She loves that every day is different here. Mary Lou loves skiing, boating, Voxing, and her favorite number is 8!

Beth Arthur

Technology Integration Specialist

Beth has worked for Weymouth for over 25 years! A graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Boston University with an MEd in Special Education, and Simmons University with an EdS in Assistive Technology. One of Beth’s guiding philosophies is that technology integration creates a pathway toward accessibility, provides an avenue to remove obstacles to learning, and paves the way for critical and creative thinking. In her spare time, Beth enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Aaron Macaibay

Technology Support Specialist

Aaron will be our first helpdesk support specialist providing tier-one support for the whole district by phone, chat, Email, and walk-in. He will work full-time at the Edtech district office at Weymouth High School. Aaron is a 2021 Graduate of the Weymouth High School Career and Technical Education Information Technology program. This past April Aaron was awarded the Massachusetts Vocational Association’s Student Achievement Award and graduated with a GPA ranked 2nd amongst 73 CTE graduates.

Chris Goulart

Technology Support Specialist

Chris is the team jokester (we can’t blame him he’s a funny guy) he does a great impersonation of Mrs. Doubtfire! Chris is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He specializes in Asset Management and organization. He plays video games in his spare time. Even though he is new to WPS, he loves the team he is working with and enjoys the varied challenges that keep him on his toes.

Grayson Pedula

Helpdesk Support Specialist

Grayson graduated from Duxbury High School in 2012 and studied Game Art Animation at Champlain College. His immersion into the world of IT was kindled at a young age by the desire to build his first Desktop and his family being heavily involved in the IT field. He was lucky enough to be involved in an afterschool club for coding and robotics hosted by engaging High School teachers that further fueled his attraction to the field. Grayson is friendly and always ready to help others. He enjoys working as part of a team and feels a strong desire to contribute in a positive way to whatever group he is a part of. In his free time, Grayson is busy reading books of all kinds including historic or fantasy, playing his favorite video games, taking his German Shepard Tessa on outdoor adventures, exploring new places, meeting new people, and learning as much as he can about our world.

Julie Rubini

Helpdesk Support Specialist

Julie has been with the Weymouth School System since 2015 in the LBLC program as an Educational Support Professional. Her positions at Chapman and the High School had her working extensively with students with a Language Based Learning Disabilities. Julie has also worked with computers since 1999, as a technical support engineer and as a Network Administrator for software companies.
